British Special Team for Responses in Cases of Floods Arrives Tonight

UK flagSpecial team for response in cases of floods from the United Kingdom, which is the part of the British International team for search and rescue, arrives tonight in Bosnia-Herzegovina in order to help.

The team is composed of 33 members of the National fire services of United Kingdom, arrives on the Sarajevo airport. Team is entirely self-sustaining and specialized for rescue in times of floods.

According to the British embassy, they are equipped with 4 motor boats, pumps and equipment for rescue. Team immediately travels to Tuzla from where it will be allocated on the locations where it is mostly needed. They are part of the British contingent which is part of the team addressed to Bosnia-Herzegovina in the framework of Mechanism of civil support of European Union.
