The Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska Željko Budimir stated that the police have knowledge that Đorđe Ždrale is in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and that he is beyond the reach of the prosecuting authorities of the Republika Srpska entity.
“When it comes to the shooting that took place on August 2, the police have reasonable doubts that Đorđe Ždrale shot Kosta Pandurević. We are looking for the perpetrator, that is Ždrale,” said Budimir at today’s press conference in Pale.
He pointed out that, together with the police agencies of the canton and the Federal Police Administration, they are trying to locate Ždrale and deprive them of their freedom so that they can continue with the investigation.
The minister stated that he is cooperating intensively with the Prosecutor’s Office throughout the process.
“We insist that the judiciary, together with us, carry out and finish what we started in breaking up organized criminal groups that affect everyone when it comes to criminal groups in the environment,” Budimir said.
Ždrale is suspected of injuring Pandurević with a firearm on August 2 in Spasovdanska Street in the municipality of Istočno Novo Sarajevo, Srna writes.
