Budimir: We have the most prepared Police Agency in BiH

The Minister of the Interior of the Republika Srpska, Željko Budimir, opened the two-day “Police Day” in Zalužani near Banja Luka today and said that the RS Police is the most prepared police agency in BiH, and that the sports games of the Ministry of the Interior are an opportunity to show this.

“We have one of the best police agencies in the region and this is the result of constant work, intensive investment in equipment, but also in training in order to provide the best possible security protection for our citizens,” said Budimir.

He added that in the coming period, intensive work will be done on the organization of the RS Ministry of the Interior in order to provide an adequate response to the security challenges of modern society.

The Deputy President of the Union of Interior Workers of the Republika Srpska, Davor Stupar, said that this year’s “Police Day” gathered around 700 participants, and that this is a record number, which makes this event a serious competition.

“This is an indicator of the progress of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but also of the Union of Internal Affairs Workers, because sports socializing of workers is very important for union activities, since in this way we achieve unity and unity among workers,” said Stupar.

Head of the Police Education Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Mile Šikman said that during the two days of competition, the participants of the “Police Day” will fight for the best placement in six disciplines.

“26 organizational units of the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs are competing, divided into 125 individual teams, and we told them to compete in sports on the field, but also to show unity and strength,” emphasized Šikman, Srna news agency writes.
