Canadian Cities Hamilton, Calgary and Toronto raise BiH flags in Honor of National Day

In honor of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and on the occasion of November 25 Statehood Day, the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina was raised on the assembly buildings of the Canadian cities of Hamilton, Calgary and Toronto.

“The obligation of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, no matter where they are, is to protect the homeland and all that has been achieved so far, as well as to resolutely oppose all those who question it in any way. It is very important to have a country. Let’s take care of it as we took care of it during the difficult time of aggression. Those who observe the Statehood Day should feel honored by the historical fact that they belong to the generation of founders of the restoration of the statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Others who deny what was said, we will not beg, but tell them. Celebrate it or not, Bosnia and Herzegovina is a state that exists as such,” stated the Genocide Research Institute of Canada.

They add that by the will of fate and history, Bosnia and Herzegovina has been in the embrace of the experience of Eastern and Western cultures and religions for hundreds of years. As such, it can be the hope of the world.

“Unfortunately, the international community does not give proper support to those Bosnian and universal values. The paradox is that we persistently fight for the stated values, and the entities of the international community persistently impose divisions and discrimination on us. We ask from Canada and the world only what they have, which is a society organized on the full equality of all its citizens throughout its territory. We are not asking for anything more or anything else. We already have many centuries of experience in this, and don’t impose anything else on us,” they added.

“There is Bosnia and Herzegovina, and it will be. There has been Bosnia and Herzegovina for a thousand years and it will be at least that much longer. No matter how much they kill, mutilate, attack and divide it, no matter how much they slander and spread lies about it, no matter how much they hate it, there is Bosnia and Herzegovina, every day more and more. Homeland is not just a word, homeland is a constant struggle for it, wherever you are. Bosnia and Herzegovina is in Canada, the voice of Bosnia and Herzegovina is heard in Canada, the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina is flying in Canada. Bosnia and Herzegovina will never go anywhere,” it was concluded.
