Canadian authorities have warned their citizens not to travel to Israel, as the regional armed conflict poses a security threat.
“The security situation can further deteriorate without warning,” the Canadian government said in a statement.
The statement points out that if the armed conflict intensifies, it could affect the ability of passengers to travel using commercial means of transportation.
“This may lead to travel disruptions, including airspace closures and flight cancellations and diversions,” the government’s directive said.
