Minister of Interior of Canton Sarajevo Admir Katica will present at the session of the Government of the Canton of Sarajevo a plan for the procurement of a multipurpose helicopter that will serve both the operational affairs of ministry and civilian needs.
In addition to the acquisition of the helicopter, the ministry will also establish a helicopter unit consisting of two crews and eight persons.
Katica stated that there is a long-standing need for a helicopter that will serve the ministry and assist the population in the event of natural disasters, fires, floods, earthquakes, support for medical interventions.
The procurement of helicopters is one of the measures from the program signed by the six political parties that form the assembly majority in Sarajevo Canton.
