The Canton Sarajevo Tourist Association presented the first tourist offer at the Milan BIT fair. Tourists from Italy showed a great interest in visiting Sarajevo, which would be much frequent and easier if there would be a direct airline Milan – Sarajevo. The Italians are among the top ten visitors to the Canton of Sarajevo, according to a statistical report for 2018. In addition to numerous tourists and tour operators, the special guest at the Canton Sarajevo Tourist Board stand was Jasna Martincevic, from the BiH consulate in Milan.
More than two thousand tourist exhibitors participated in the fair and more than 60,000 visitors visited it.
From 10 to 12 February 2019, BIT – International Travel Exhibition returns to Milan, a historic event organized by Fiera Milano, which since 1980 has brought tourists and travelers from all over the world to Lombardy.
As in 2018, it will be held in the pavilions of Fieramilanocity and MiCo, in the center of Milan.
The new format was promoted by customer insight by GRS, a research, customer satisfaction, business intelligence and value creation business in the trade fair, including a portfolio of more than 1,000 fairs globally, gathering visitor ratings and last year’s exhibitors: more than 91.6% of Bit participants confirmed Milan’s importance as the ideal city for a tourism fair.
For more than thirty years, Bit promotes the meeting between decision makers, industry experts and carefully selected and profiled buyers from geographic areas with the highest rate of economic growth and from all sectors of the chain.
An event that is also formative with more than one hundred conferences and seminars on the latest industry trends. For this and many other reasons we are waiting for the Bit from 10 to 12 February 2019!
