Čapljina May Get an Archeological Museum Herzegovina

muzej_capljinaThe Federal Ministry of Education and Science organized today in Mostar the consultative meeting on preparation and development of the conceptual design of establishing an archeological museum Herzegovina, that would be located at the Roman Villa, in Višići, near Čapljina.

The Federal Minister of Education and Science Damir Mašić will lead the meeting, and professor of archeology Snježana Vasilj will present the site Roman Villa in Višići and its potentials of turning it into a museum.

The area of Southern Herzegovina is known in the local and international scientific community for the priceless archeological finds from different periods of human history.

The creation of an archeological museum would create conditions for the continuation of archeological research of this area.
