Catering Facilities can serve outdoors as of Tomorrow in Sarajevo

At yesterday’s extraordinary session, the Government of the Canton Sarajevo (CS) adopted new hygienic-epidemiological measures, based on the recommendations of the Crisis Staff of the CS Ministry of Health, and partially mitigated the previous ones.

Work is allowed to catering entities in a way that allows the delivery of food and beverages, counter sales of food and beverages, and serving food and beverages in the outer part of the catering facility, meaning in the outdoor service area (summer garden, terrace), in the case that the space is open on at least three sides, regardless of whether the mentioned space is covered, with the visible marking of seating tables, the presence of a maximum of four people per table, and in compliance with hygienic and epidemiological measures;

The work of fitness centers and gyms is allowed exclusively for individual training counting that each person needs 7 m2, and not more than 20 people can be present in these facilities;

The work of wellness and spa centers is allowed, counting on that each person needs 7 m2, and not more than 20 people can be present in these facilities;

The opening of public swimming pools is prohibited, except for holding training processes in swimming pools intended for swimmers and paralympic swimmers, national team members, and professional water polo teams, while respecting hygienic and epidemiological measures;

The upbringing and education process will take place according to the current model – online;

While excluding item 5 of this conclusion, it should be noted that it is allowed to organize practical exercises and exams for students in the premises of higher education institutions in groups of up to 20 people and while respecting hygienic-epidemiological measures;

This conclusion shall enter into force on the day of its adoption, and shall be applied from April 12th, 2021. until April 19th, 2021. until 5:00 a.m. and will be published in the “Official Gazette of CS, ” as the CS Government announced.
