Catherine Ashton Will Come to BiH on Thursday

catherine-ashtonThe High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Cahterine Ashton will visit BiH on Thursday, confirmed her Spokesperson Maja Kocijančič to Fena.

Ashton will meet with members of the BiH Presidency. She will also visit Srebrenica where she will lay a wreath at the “Srebrenica-Potočari” monument in memory to the victims of genocide in 1995, announced the EU Delegation to BiH.

The High Representative began her visit to the Western Balkans on Monday when she visited Montenegro, and then went to Albania and Macedonia. On Wednesday she is going back to Brussels due to a meeting with Prime Minister Ivica Dačić and Hashim Thaçi.

After BiH, Ashton will visit Croatia. On Thursday evening in Zagreb she will meet with the Prime Minister Ivo Josipović, and on Friday morning she will meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Vesna Pusić.
