CEC: Recounting of Ballots at 23 regular Polling Stations in Doboj

The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued an order at today’s session ordering the Main Counting Center to conduct a re-control count of ballots at 23 regular polling stations in Doboj and determine the election results, to determine the number of invalid and unused ballots and to determine the number of signatures in the extract from the Central Voters’ Register.

“The Main Counting Center will begin its activities in accordance with the aforementioned order tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. and observers accredited to observe the work of the Main Counting Center may attend,” the CEC announced.

The CEC also issued a conclusion today initiating proceedings due to reasonable suspicion that on the day of the Early Elections for the President of the Republika Srpska, the rules of the electoral process and electoral rights were violated at certain polling stations in the basic electoral units of Doboj, Laktaši, Zvornik, Bileća, Gacko, Bratunac, Kalinovik, Berkovići, Srbac, Lopare. East Ilidža, Han Pjesak, Ugljevik, Ribnik, Vlasenica, Modriča, Banja Luka, Jezero and East New Sarajevo.
