The first man of UEFA, Aleksander Čeferin, was a guest of the Football Association of Serbia at today’s match between Serbia and Bulgaria in Leskovac, where he pointed out that he would like the national teams from the region to meet at the Euro in Germany in 2024.
He visited the Kraljevica stadium in Zaječar with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and then went to the match in Leskovac.
“I am very glad to see such a beautiful infrastructure and to be in this part of Serbia that I have never been to before. I have not seen much, except from the plane and the car, but I am very glad that we came. I am glad that these parts of Serbia are getting the right infrastructure,” said Čeferin, who then pointed out that he would like all selections from the region to qualify for the Euros.
“I am glad that three national teams from the region are close to qualifying for the European Championship. Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia. I would like Bosnia and Herzegovina and North Macedonia to qualify as well, but they have no chance. Bosnia and Herzegovina has a playoff, but how are they playing. .. I would certainly like for as many selections from the region as possible to qualify for the European Championship,” Ceferin added.
Let us remind you that the Dragons will end the qualification for the Euro tonight with a home match against Slovakia, and we will try to qualify for the Euro through the play-off that is scheduled for March, Klix.ba reports.
