Cellist Anne Gastinel will Perform with the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra

gastinel_anneSarajevo philharmonic orchestra continues with its regular schedule on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of its existence.

The Sarajevo philharmonic orchestra will host the famous cellist Anne Gastinel on Friday and Saturday, the 29th and 30th November 2013 at 20:00 at the Sarajevo National Theater.

Anne Gastinel is a worldwide respected artist, but also known as the ambassador of the French school of cello and has won many awards at  major international competitions. She will perform in front of the Sarajevo audience Concert for Cello and Orchestra br.1 in A minor Camilla Saint-Saënsa, written in 1872 for the Belgian cellist Auguste Tolbecque.

TaeJung Lee, a conductor from Korea, will lead the orchestra.

The concert will be held in cooperation with the French Embassy and the French institution in B&H.
