Census 2013: Information for Foreigners

popisCensus 2013 in B&H shall be applied in accordance with international statistical standards for the definition of the total population, the concept of residence (place of usual residence).

Therefore, the period of residence for foreigners should be one year or longer.

Foreigners with temporary or permanent B&H residence permit regardless of whether or not they are in B&H at the time of Census shall be registered. Members of the diplomatic staff in B&H, as well as other foreign citizens should give the answers to the questions of the registering census form P-2. The form can be seen at the following link:

If a foreign citizen can not establish communication with the enumerators, he/she can contact the local census committee at the municipality of their residence, so that the arrival of someone to register them can be organized. The number of the municipal commission may be requested at the official call center for statistics agency: 070 300 900.
