stranacThe French Cultural Center André Malraux, in partnership with the French Institute in B&H and TKD Šahinpašić will hold tomorrow in Šahinpašić bookstore in Sarajevo a presentation of the comic adaptation of Camus’s novel ‘The Stranger’, which was written by the French illustrator, writer and cartoonist Jacques Ferrandez.

This year, the 100-year anniversary of Albert Camus will be marked. On this occasion, Center André Malraux, together with partners, will present to the B&H public the comic version of one of the most well-known novels in French literature.

Fully retaining the Camus’s original text, Ferrandez imaginatively and successfully portrays Algeria, Mersault and other characters from ‘The Stranger’.

Jean-Marie Laclavetine, French writer and publisher from the publishing house Gallimard, will present the comic.
