The Center for Contemporary Art Sarajevo (SCCA) announced a public call for participation at the contest for the annual award for young artists from B&H ‘Zvono 2014’
Candidates can be artists under 35 years of age and citizens of B&H. In regards to works of art, there can be painting, sculpture, prints, drawings, installations, photography, videos, new media and performance.
Visual artists can apply for the contest, and proposals can also be sent by institutions, individuals and professionals from the field of art.
The award is given for quality and innovation, for works of art created during the last two years, and the jury will decide, between the proposed and the received entries at the competition, four finalists of which one will receive a prize of six-month stay in New York.
The award ‘Zvono’ is awarded to one artist.
The contest is open from 24 March until 5 May, announced SCC.
