The foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of BiH at the end of last year amounted to 17.64 billion BAM and are 430 million BAM higher compared to the end of November of the same year, the Central Bank of BiH announced.
On an annual basis, foreign exchange reserves increased by 1.35 billion BAM or 8.3 percent.
Total loans to domestic sectors at the end of December 2024 amounted to 25.83 billion BAM, and compared to the previous month, an increase in loans of 250.9 million BAM or one percent was recorded.
Credit growth was registered in all sectors – households by 47.3 million BAM or 0.4 percent, private enterprises by 58.3 million BAM or 0.6 percent, government institutions by 9.6 million BAM or 0.7 percent, non-financial public enterprises by 122.5 million BAM or 21.3 percent, and other domestic sectors by 13.3 million BAM or 4.5 percent.
The annual growth rate of total loans in December last year was 9.8 percent, nominally 2.3 billion BAM.
Annual loan growth was registered in the household sector by 1.09 billion BAM or 9.3 percent, private enterprises by 881 million BAM or nine percent, government institutions by 182.1 million BAM or 16.4 percent, non-financial public enterprises by 79.7 million BAM or 12.9 percent, and other domestic sectors by 65.3 million BAM or 26.9 percent.
