Central Bank of BiH publishes List of Blocked Accounts

The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) has published an updated list of blocked accounts of business entities in BiH on Wednesday.

The new report on the blocked accounts in the Unified Register of Accounts of the CBBH states that at the end of November 2020, there were 95,997 accounts of business entities that were blocked and that 52,182 companies have had at least one of their accounts blocked.

Compared to the report from the previous month, the number of blocked accounts of business entities decreased by 488 (96,485 in the previous report), while the number of companies with at least one blocked account also decreased by 449 (previous report 52,631), Fena news agency writes.

In the first report of the Central Bank of BiH, published in early November 2012, the number of blocked accounts of business entities in BiH was 58,038, while 35,694 companies had at least one blocked bank account.
