Central Election Commission of BiH confirmed the results of local elections in Srebrenica

Today in Sarajevo, The Central Election Commission (CEC) has confirmed the results of local elections in Srebrenica, and thus paved the way for the inauguration of the Municipal Assembly and mayor.

Election results are confirmed with four votes in favour and two against.

After today’s session all the results of the local elections that were held on 7th October for all municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, except for the municipality of Mostar where elections were not called, were confirmed.

Members of the CEC have called for changes to election law in order to easily resolve similar issues in the future.
