Central Election Commission of BiH says there are No Obstacles for Kristo to be the Chairperson of CoM

At today’s emergency session, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina made a decision that there are no obstacles to the candidacy of Borjana Krišto for the position of Chairperson of the Council of Ministers.

The CEC points out that it is necessary to carry out security checks and possible conflicts of interest.

The conclusion was also adopted that the report on the conducted verification will be forwarded to the BiH Commission for Decision on Conflict of Interest, which should check whether there are any obstacles to the appointment of Kristo in connection with a possible conflict of interest.

The appointment of Borjana Krišto as the mandate holder of the BiH Council of Ministers should be discussed at the session of the BiH Presidency in the next few days, Klix.ba reports.
