The Day of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and their 20th anniversary will be solemnly marked today at the “Rajlovac” barracks.
The program of the ceremony includes the formation of units, a tactical and technical assembly, speeches by high-ranking officials, and the awarding of awards to members of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH.
According to the protocol, the ceremony will begin with the presentation of reports and a review of the echelon, followed by the singing of the BiH anthem.
The Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of BiH, Lieutenant General Gojko Knežević, will then address the audience, followed by the Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Željko Komšić.
The presentation of awards and commendations to deserving members is also planned.
A demonstration exercise is planned as part of the program, which will present the operational capabilities of the Armed Forces of BiH, the Ministry of Defense of BiH announced.
