Ceremonial Session of the Sarajevo City Council Tomorrow

sarajevoThe ceremonial session of the City Council on the occasion of celebrating Sarajevo City Day -6 April will take place tomorrow at the National Theater in Sarajevo.

The Chairman Sabahudin Delalić will open the ceremonial session of Sarajevo City Council. Representatives of City Council and Municipal Councils of four City Municipalities, members of diplomatic corps, representatives of all the levels of government in the country, political parties and veterans organizations will attend the session. Guests/delegation from Dubrovnik, Zagreb, Pula, Konya and Novi Pazar will attend the session as well, who are visiting the city on the occasion of Sarajevo City Day.

After the ceremony opening speech, the Sarajevo Mayor Ivo Komšić will award Sarajevo City prizes.

Nada Đurevska is the winner of the individual award “Sarajevo City 6th April prize” in 2014. Architects Smajo Mulaomerović (posthumously) and Ferhat Mulabegović are the winners of group 6th April award. B&H football representation is the winner of collective 6th April award. Tilman Zulch, the President of Association for International Vulnerable People is the winner of the award Honorary Citizen of Sarajevo. Goran Čengić and Srđan Aleksić (posthumously) are the winners of “Graham Bamford” award. The winner of Sarajevo City Medal is Husein Hasani (posthumously) and the award “Sarajevo flake” goes to the youngest B&H and Sarajevo songwriter Edin Talović.
