Karateka Admir Zukan and judoka Larisa Cerić were chosen as the best athletes of Sarajevo Canton in 2012.

The most successful male team of Sarajevo Canton is Taekwondo club ‘Novi Grad’ and the most successful female team is football club ‘SFK 2000’.
Tarik Hodžić received an award of ‘Bh. Legenda’.
