Chairman of CoM met with Ambassadors of Italy and China

Zvizdic ambassadorsChairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdic met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Italy in BiH Nicola Minasi and the Ambassador of the Republic of China in BiH, Chen Bo.

Ambassador Minasi handed the invitation of the Prime Minister of Italy Paolo Gentiloni for participation at the Summit of leaders of the Western Balkan countries, which will take place in Trieste on July 12, this year. In the invitation was stated that intensive regional cooperation and firm relations with the EU represent basic elements for the stability and progress of the Western Balkans.

Ambassador Minasi said that the Summit will represent a continuation of meetings that were held in Berlin, Vienna, and Paris and he expressed his belief that topics crucial for European integration will be in the focus of the Summit.

Chairman Zvizdic thanked for the invitation and said that he is hoping for the project nominated by BiH, which have met the technical and professional requirements, to get approved at the Summit in Trieste. He said that this Summit is one of the most important for the region and the entire Western Balkans.

Chairman Zvizdic and Ambassador Bo talked about the implementation of already started projects in the field of energy, as well as on possibilities of further development of cooperation between BiH and the People’s Republic of China. They also exchanged their opinions about the Conference on tourism cooperation that will be held in Sarajevo in September this year, as well as on the upcoming Summit of heads of government of China with 16 countries of Central and Eastern Europe, which will take place in the second half of this year in Budapest.
