Chairman of CoM met with Apostolic Nuncio in BiH

zvizdic nuncio pezzutoChairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Denis Zvizdic met today in Sarajevo with the apostolic nuncio in BiH, Archbishop Lugijo Pezzut. At the meeting, Zvizdic introduced Pezzuto with the current political and economic situation in BiH.

Moreover, at the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between BiH and the Holy See and concluded that the relations are good but should be improved. Chairman Zvizdic thanked the Holy See for its support to BiH.

The Apostolic Nuncio said that the nunciature fully supports the European path of BiH and expressed hope that the Religious Holidays Act will be adopted in the BiH Parliament in the forthcoming period

Chairman Zvizdic and Nuncio Pezzuto agreed that BiH’s membership of the European Union represents a path of peace, security and economic prosperity.
