Chairman of BiH Presidency Awarded Medal of “Dimitrie Kantemir” in Bucharest

The Chairman of the BiH Presidency Nebojša Radmanović, who is on a two-day visit to Romania, was awarded the medal of “Dimitrie Kantemir” during his visit to the University in Bucharest that bears the same name as the medal.

Radmanović met with the President of the University Momčilo Luburić and the rector Korin Dumitresku, and in his honor there was a special session of the Senate of the University “Dimitri Kantemir”.

Luburić and Dumitrsku wished Radmanović a warm welcome and expressed their satisfaction that he received the biggest prize of the University, which is a prize that is rarely given out.

Radmanović expressed his gratitude to the University for the medal, and said that he is especially grateful to hold a lecture to representatives of the diplomatic corps, professors and students on the topic of “Western Balkans and the EU”, with a particular focus on BiH.

The Chairman of the BiH Presidency is in Romania at the invite of the Romanian President Traian Basescu. This is a return visit, since Basescu was on an official visit to BiH in 2008.

Radmanović will meet with President Basescu tomorrow, and after that with the President of the Senate of Romani Krin Antonesku, as well as with the President of the House of Representatives Valerija Zgonaia.
