The Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović, spoke with the President of the Republic of France, Emmanuel Macron, as part of the summit of the European Political Community in Great Britain.

Bećirović informed President Macron about the current political, security and other challenges in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region.

In particular, he pointed to the flagrant attacks by the authorities of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian entity RS on the Dayton Peace Agreement and the constitutional order of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Macron said that France will continue to support the development of an independent, sovereign and multi-ethnic Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Bećirović thanked for the principled and continuous support that France provides to Bosnia and Herzegovina on the way to European and Euro-Atlantic integration, as well as for the strong support during the adoption of the Resolution on the Srebrenica genocide in the United Nations General Assembly, the BiH Presidency announced.
