Chairman of BiH Presidency: “Participant in the Siege of Sarajevo cannot teach anyone Lessons”

The Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović, reacted to the insults of the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.

At the beginning, he recalled that the final judgments of the highest courts of the United Nations confirmed that genocide was committed against Bosniaks in the UN safe zone of Srebrenica.

“These are court verdicts that cannot be erased from the history of mankind. The highest courts of the UN have passed final verdicts and no political spins of the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, can erase that. As the president of a country that is a member of the UN, he has an obligation to respect the judgments of the UN courts,” Bećirović pointed out.

He added that Vučić is clearly nervous because, as he states, the entire civilized world understands his manipulative strategy and tactics.

“Let’s not forget, we are talking about the closest associate of convicted criminal Vojislav Šešelj for decades, a participant in the barbaric siege of Sarajevo and the author of the dark statement ‘for one Serb, we will kill 100 Muslims’. He is the last person who can teach lessons to anyone in the region. My advocacy for civilizational values, truth and justice, which is based on facts and arguments, no one can stop with insults and untruths. The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, has shown once again that he changed the rhetoric, but he never changed the essential policy,” said Bećirović.

In the end, he pointed out that, unlike Vučić, he will continue to advocate even more strongly for respecting the elementary norms of international law and civilizational values.

Vučić, let’s recall, called Bećirović a liar and a forger, Klix.ba reports.
