The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, will be at the United Nations headquarters in New York at the beginning of next week. As Fena news agency learns from the BiH Presidency, Chairman Bećirović will address the UN Security Council session on the occasion of the High Representative’s Report on the situation in our country.

Let us remind you that in the middle of last month in New York, the Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović, spoke with the UN Secretary General António Gutteres and the President of the UN General Assembly, Dennis Francis. In addition to the meetings at the UN headquarters, Bećirović intensified diplomatic activities in numerous countries in the West and the East in the past two months.

At the beginning of this week, as part of his official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany, Bećirović held meetings with the President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin, where he was received with the highest state and military honors. Before that, he spoke in Cairo with the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and the Prime Minister of Egypt, Mostafa Kamal Madbouly, as part of an official visit to Egypt.

Chairman Bećirović held a meeting and press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in Brussels, at the beginning of April, at the headquarters of the strongest military-political organization in the world.

At the end of March, King Philip of the Belgians received Denis Bećirović in an audience.

As part of his official visit to the Kingdom of Belgium, Bećirović spoke with Belgian Prime Minister Aleksander De Cro and Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib.
