The Chairman of the Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdić attend 53rd international security conference held in Munich, is announced from the Council of Ministers.
The conference is attended by more than 500 leading world politicians, who will discuss political and security issues related to the future of the transatlantic relationship and NATO, security and defense cooperation within the EU, the crisis in Ukraine and relations with Russia.
Moreover, issues related to terrorism, information warfare and threats related to the global health and climate will be discussed as well.
The conference was opened by the Chairman of the Munich Security Conference Wolfgang Ischinger, and at the beginning of the conference was Minister of Defense of Germany, Ursula von der Leyen and Minister of Defense James Mattis addressed attendees as well.
In addition to high-ranking officials, the conference was co-chair of the Foundation and the Bill & Melinda Gates and singer and founder of ONE Bono Vox.
The conference was attended by the Vice President Mike Pence, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, UN Secretary-General and Antonio Guterres, Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg, President of the Council of Europe Donald Tusk, EU High Representative for foreign and security policy Federica Mogherini and many heads of state and government.
