Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, spoke today with the Minister of Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Thani Ahmed Saeed Al Zeyoudi, about the improvement of bilateral cooperation.
The interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the exceptionally good and friendly relations between the two countries.
Chairperson Krišto emphasized that there is still significant room for improvement of economic cooperation, especially if the economic and investment potentials of the BiH system were to be presented to Emirati investors.
Krišto said that Bosnia and Herzegovina sees the UAE as a model of innovation, creativity and progress in the Middle East, and that in this sense she expects intensification of economic cooperation in areas such as tourism, transport infrastructure, energy, food industry, dedicated and wood industry.
She also thanked for the invitation and expressed her determination to participate in the COP28 UN conference on climate change, which will be held in December this year in Dubai.
She introduced Minister Al Zeyoudi to BiH’s European path and emphasized our country’s firm and undoubted commitment to fulfilling 14 key priorities from the European Commission’s Opinion and progressing towards full membership in the EU, the Council of Ministers of BiH announced.
