The Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, met today with the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio after one of the sessions of the Munich Security Conference (MSC).
The second day of the security conference in Munich, where the chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, is present, began with a panel entitled “The US in the World: How does the US administration view the state of the international order”.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio addressed the same, focusing on current global challenges and the role of the United States of America in preserving security and strengthening alliances.
Kristo described the meeting with Rubio as cordial, emphasizing that his speech was inspiring, referring to the US Secretary of State’s encouraging statements about preserving transatlantic relations.
“A true partner and ally of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its constituent nations,” Krišto wrote.
On that occasion, the importance of the continued support of the United States of America to Bosnia and Herzegovina on the Euro-Atlantic path was highlighted, as well as the importance of strong cooperation with the institutions of the European Union.
The key topics of this year’s security conference will be the challenges of European defense and security, the future of transatlantic cooperation, different visions of the global order, regional conflicts and the security implications of technological progress.
