The Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, spoke today with the Commander of the NATO headquarters in Sarajevo, Brigadier General Pamela McGaha.
Krišto expressed gratitude to the NATO headquarters in Sarajevo for the continuous support to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the reform of the defense sector, the process of integration into NATO and the contribution to the general security and stability of BiH.
She assessed that cooperation with the NATO headquarters has been extremely important for Bosnia and Herzegovina and emphasized that full membership in NATO remains one of the key foreign policy priorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the meeting, the two officials underlined the importance of the continuation of the development and modernization program of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as the continuation of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s participation in joint peace operations with NATO members.
The Commander of the NATO headquarters in Sarajevo congratulated Borjana Krišto on her appointment and expressed belief in the additional strengthening of cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and NATO, stated the Council of Ministers of BiH.
