The Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, spoke today in Brussels with the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, about the political and economic situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with an emphasis on the process of establishment of government and BiH’s European path.

Chairperson Krišto emphasized the understanding that the candidate status was granted to our country as an incentive for further accelerated work on the harmonization of legislation and that the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina will do its best to justify the trust shown by the European partners.

She emphasized that there is a positive working atmosphere and that the Council of Ministers has already adopted several important documents for EU integration and determined the draft budget for 2023, which will greatly facilitate the work of the BiH institutions.

Krišto added that the stabilization of political conditions and the sincere dialogue of all political actors, with respect for the full equality of all three constituent peoples and others, are the key to speeding up the reform and integration processes.

Chairperson Kristo thanked the European parliamentarians for their continuous support to our country and expressed belief that Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Western Balkans will remain in the focus of the European parliamentarians.
