livnoPresentation of the Project of solar parks in the territory of Canton 10 by companies ‘Prinz Karl Thurn und Taxis Management’ and ‘Hareon Solar Technology’ was held yesterday in Livno and the main reasons for investing in solar energy in Livno municipality and Canton 10 were presented, reports Livno-online.com.

Johen Wondracek said that one of the main reasons for investing in solar energy is the fact that it is a renewable energy source, and the canton has a good location and it is also close to the electrical grid of Croatia, who’ll soon become the EU member.

Canton 10 Minister of  Economy Anka Papak-Dodig said that the idea is good and she’s glad that the potential of the canton was recognised and she’ll do all in her power to make the project a reality.

Vice-president of the ‘Hareon Solar Technology’  Ray Wilson said that the entire project could be implemented in 2 years, and maybe even sooner, because the Chinese Development Bank gave the money.
