Chargé D’affaires Hill to Celebrate “International Education Week” with Students from Treća Gimnazija

treca gimnazijaIn celebration of the 15th International Education Week, Chargé d’Affaires Nicholas Hill will speak with a students at Treća  Gimnazija in Sarajevo at 11:00 o’clock on Monday, November 17, 2014.  Mr. Hill will speak about the value of international education, the importance of a global perspective, and a new U.S. higher education opportunity available to students in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Prior to talking to the students, Chargé Hill will deliver a brief statement to the press. The statement is planned for 10:50 am.

A joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international educational and cultural exchanges. U.S. diplomats and other Embassy speakers will engage students at speaking and outreach events in 15 cities across BiH from November 17 to 21.
