The Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gordana Tadić, together with the Deputy Chief Prosecutor, Diana Kajmaković, and the Head of a Section within the Special Department for War Crimes, Sanja Jukić, and Prosecutor Ibro Bulić, met with the delegation of the IRMCT Office of the Prosecutor, which included Mr. Aleksandar Kontić, Mr. Zbignew Wojdyla and Ms. Abeer Hassan.

The meeting discussed cooperation and communication between the two respective institutions in the fight against impunity for war crimes, and joint activities and efforts in prosecuting cases, as well as cooperation and support provided to the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina by the IRMCT Office of the Prosecutor in regard to the exchange of evidence and documentation, search for missing persons, regional cooperation and other important issues in which mutual cooperation is achieved.

Officials of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina informed their colleagues from the IRMCT about the activities and work on cases carried out by the Special Department for War Crimes, as well as about its plan of activities and results until the end of 2021.

The cooperation and support that the IRMCT Office of the Prosecutor provides to prosecutor’s offices in the region is crucial for the establishment of the rule of law and for punishing war crimes, and such a cooperation will continue intensively in the future.
