Children in Gaza wait in Lines for Hours to get Food

Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip have been going on for months without stopping, and the people of Gaza are facing starvation due to Israeli blockades in the besieged Palestinian enclave.

Thousands of Palestinians face the danger of hunger and thirst in the Gaza Strip, which is exposed to brutal Israeli attacks.

It is increasingly difficult to find food in Refah, where tens of thousands of Palestinians who fled Israeli attacks have taken refuge.

Residents of Gaza who have taken refuge in the city are surviving thanks to meals prepared by volunteers.

Numerous children stand in lines every day, holding pots and buckets, in order to receive a meal that means life to them.

The United Nations Food Agency today called for an urgent approach to prevent starvation in the Gaza Strip, saying that most areas of greatest need remain regularly inaccessible.

“To avoid hunger, we need safe and regular access to all areas of the Gaza Strip where people are hungry,” the World Food Program (WFP) said on the X social network.

Israel launched an offensive on the Gaza Strip after a cross-border attack by Hamas on October 7, which killed more than 25,700 and wounded 63,740 Palestinians. About 1,200 Israelis were killed in the Hamas attack.

According to UN data, due to the Israeli offensive, 85 percent of the population of Gaza has been internally displaced and is facing an acute shortage of food, clean water, and medicine, while 60 percent of the enclave’s infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed, AA writes.
