China claims that the Corona Virus may have originated in the USA

China claims that the coronavirus may have originated in the United States, accusing Washington of evading responsibility after the administration of US President Donald Trump blamed China for the emergence of Covid-19.

Beijing published a “white paper” on its response to the pandemic yesterday, less than two weeks after the Trump administration claimed that the virus leaked from a laboratory in Wuhan.

The Chinese government said that this was an attempt by Washington to shift the blame.

“Significant evidence indicates that Covid-19 may have appeared in the United States earlier than officially stated and before the epidemic in China,” the “white paper” published by Xinhua states.

China emphasizes that it shared relevant information with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the international community in a timely manner, “Sputnik” reported.

“The US should not continue to turn a deaf ear and mute, but should respond to the legitimate concerns of the international community,” the document states.
