Chinese and Domestic Companies interested in the Congress Center Sarajevo?

Congress Center Sarajevo klix.baAt the session that was held on March 30, 2017, the Municipal Council of Novi Grad Sarajevo adopted the program of the arrangement of city construction land for this year, with which was planned for the municipality to put into operation or arrange construction land for the “Congress Center Sarajevo”.

Considering that the land is state-owned, but in the possession of several subjects, as noted from the municipality, Novi Grad is planning to expropriate the land with the aim of consolidation, with which would be created conditions for placing it on the public auction for interested investors.

“We have contacts with several investors, including investors from Kuwait, China, as well as local investors who were interested in this project, so that the municipality will start with the process of consolidation of the land in the next period in order to enable the auction “, as announced from the Municipality of Novi Grad.

To recall, the Congress Center Sarajevo that is worth 300 million BAM is planned to be constructed in the immediate vicinity of the municipal building in Novi Grad, right next to the Radio-Television of BiH, in the area of 5.77 hectares. The zone of architectural and urban complex occupies 3.47 hectares, as well as 2.3 hectares of traffic and public areas.

The object would include several halls where would be held central cultural and business events in BiH such as concerts, shows, movie screenings and congresses. The complex would also include a hotel, a shopping center, large garages, a large part of business contents and one part of the residential area.
