concertSerbian Cultural Society “Prosvjeta” will organize a traditional Christmas concert tonight at the National Theatre.

Savo Vlaski, the head of this Society, expressed his satisfaction with the fact that the interest in their concerts is not declining over the years: “This proves that we are known for the quality of our program. We managed to preserve the tradition of national holidays and customs on this basis.”

While presenting the program, Vice President of the Management Board of the Society Dejan Garic said that the concert will start with spiritual compositions performed by the choir “Pontanima”, which is celebrating 20 years of activity this year.

“Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy in the sound of the accordion in a different and unusual arrangement, and enjoy the scenes from the ballet “Romeo and Juliet”. Young performers will evoke Christmas atmosphere with poems of Milorad Popovic Sapcanin and Milan Rakic,” said Garic.

Choir “Banjalucanke” will present themselves to Sarajevo audience at the concert for the first time with traditional ethnic compositions, which will be, as stated, “a treat for the eyes and ears.”

Tickets can be bought at the sales place at the National Theatre in the period from 9 am to 11:30 am and 3: 30 pm to 7:30 pm.
