Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH Igor Crnadak expects that citizens of BiH will be able to travel to China without a visa from January 1, next year.
Minister Crnadak explained that the Proposal of Agreement on Mutual Abolition of Visas, which was adopted at the session of the Council of Ministers of BiH, represents the result of long negotiations with the representatives of China.
The agreement still needs to be confirmed by the Presidency of BiH, and Crnadak expects that it will be signed during his meeting with Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi, which is scheduled on November 27, within the “1 + 16” Summit of China and South-Eastern Europe in Budapest.
Later on, the document will be verified in the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.
Chief of BH diplomacy emphasized that China is the most populous country, and one of the fastest growing economies in the whole world.
“I believe that the possibility for our people to travel to China without visas will help in the faster development of mutual relations and, among others, more of our products might find their place in the market of China and this agreement will have numerous other good effects on everyone in BiH,” said Minister Crnadak.
The agreement will facilitate traveling of citizens in these two countries who have valid passports and it will also contribute to the development of the sector of economy, culture, and tourism.
