The earthquake that hit Albania yesterday morning killed at least 18 people, while 325 people were injured and many homes were ruined. As a result, the ‘’Pomozi.ba’’ organization started an appeal for assistance to victims in Albania. By calling 17013, which is unique to all operators, you donate 2 BAM.

During the day, the leaders of the ‘’Pomozi.ba’’ organization held a meeting with Mr. Muharrem Zejnullahu, Consul General of the Republic of Albania to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and the President of the Community of Albanians in BiH.

At the meeting, it was agreed that the ‘’Pomozi.ba’’ organization would start an action to raise assistance for the victims in Albania, and Zejnullahu, in the meantime, contacted the president of the Durres crisis office, where tents for collective accommodation were set up.

This is what the people of Albania need the most: food products (flour, oil, sugar, salt, canned food, beans, rice, pasta, etc.), beds, mattresses, bedsheets, blankets, and diapers for children and adults.

The first assistance delivery is planned in the next ten days.
