The news on the Sarajevo protests because of the unique master citizen number (JMB) for newborns in our country echoed around the world, and support to BIH citizens, who have been protesting since 5 June in front of the BiH Parliament building demanding their human rights, comes from countries in the region and throughout the world.
Of course, many citizens throughout BiH support the protests.
Among the countries that have recognized the importance of the struggle of BiH citizens for children are Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Slovenia, the Netherlands, Germany, and the USA.
Support has arrived from Washington, Berlin, Bochum, Oslo, Istanbul, Dubrovnik, and Belgrade.
People from BiH who live in Seattle have become involved. They have made a video that shows a young girl making a placard that says “JMBG”.
It is interesting that children from South Sudan have expressed their support for the youngest citizens of BIH and the protestors.
On the photographs that portal Klix.ba obtained from humanitarian activists in South Sudan, we can see several children holding a sign that says “South Sudan JMBG” as a sign of support to the protests that have been going on in BiH in the last few days.
In addition to South Sudan, words of support to the protestors who demand the adoption of a law on the unique master citizen number at the state level has arrived from Qatar.
“There is not a lot of us, but we are joining in the support of our citizens. JMBG for all”, wrote BiH citizens who live in Doha.
