The City Hall was illuminated on Saturday with the colors of the Italian flag in solidarity with a friendly state whose citizens are experiencing the temptation of life these days, Klix. ba news portal reports.

The facade of the City Hall was painted by floodlights by decision of the City of Sarajevo, as an illustration and a great symbol of Italy, where more than 21,000 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered to date. In Italy, 175 people have died in the last 24 hours. Also, over the last 24 hours, 527 people have recovered.

“This country has been the focal point of the virus coronary pandemic in recent weeks. Although the whole world, and we in Bosnia and Herzegovina, are facing the spread of the virus and preventive measures, we are sending a message to our Italian friends that we are as close to them as they were to us when it was most difficult. Only the caution, responsibility and patience can be the right answer to the challenge we are facing, “said the Mayor of the City of Sarajevo, Abdulah Skaka.

1,441 people have died since the start of the infection and 1,966 have recovered. The number of patients considered extremely ill has increased by 190 to 1.518 today.
