Jajce will be hosting the 2nd Fair of Tourism and organic products on 30th and 31stof May, on which a large number of exhibitors from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina is expected to come, announced the Agency for Cultural, Historical and Natural Heritage and Development of Tourist Potential of City of Jajce.
Within the exhibition and sales fair in Jajce, a round table will take place, on which natural beauty as a tourist potential of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be discussed.
A world-renowned archaeologist Dr. Semir Osmanagić, who has found a complex of pyramids in Visoko, will be one of the lecturers in Jajce and will talk about archaeological tourism in B&H. One of the round tables will be dedicated to the production of healthy food.
In recent years, Jajce is more and more interesting for tourists from all over the world, who are visiting this, so called, City of Light. In particular, photo of Jajce was found on TV channels worldwide since last year when the first competition in jump from a waterfall were organized. Jajce waterfall is one of the very few waterfalls in the world, which is located in the center of the city.
At the end of April this year, almost all the world’s media quoted the news that more than 100 students from Poland arrived in Jajce, and by hitchhiking!
Nearly 90,000 tourists visits waterfall in Jajce every year, and just as many people visits Pliva lakes as well.
During the May Fair, Jajce will host a large number of cultural and artistic associations and cyclists from all over Bosnia. During the two days of the event, the city will host a number of brass bands from B&H and orchestra from the Croatian island of Vis.
