Cleaning Actions Around Cazin Took Place

1982246_815939908435101_6580965416728169972_nIn municipality Cazin this weekend several cleaning actions as part of this year’s program ‘April-Month of Cleaning’ were organized.

This action was organized by members of the cycling club ‘Cazin’, who with the support of members of the mountaineering society ‘Krajina’, cycling club MTB from the Swiss city of St. Margarethen and the Association of Beekeepers ‘Kesten’ cleaned the former complex ‘Purana’ in the local community Osredak.

Eight halls of the former factories of ‘Agrokomerc’’ were cleaned, and more than 50 cubic meters of waste were gathered.

The halls, in which there were once the production facilities of ‘Puran’, of ‘Agrokomerc’ from Velika Kladuša, were destroyed ten years ago in a fire, and the years of devastation have left their mark and this is a place that represented a constant threat to the environment.

The remains of various materials negatively affected people and plants. The problems were faced by everyone, from locals to the owners of honeybee colonies who set up their hives at this place.

The companies ”Liđan”, ”Čistoća” and ”Agrokomerc” gave support to these actions.

Members of the cultural-artistic society ‘Skokovi’ cleaned the surroundings of the local community and the travel belt ten kilometers long to the local communities of Ćoralići and Pećigrad.
