Eco HUB Blagaj, which is coordinated by the Novi Val Youth Club, held a cleaning campaign in the area of Bunski Kanal yesterday.

In the course of this action, a total of 42 bags of waste were collected on the Buna canals, with a total of 25 participants who participated in this local initiative, and contributed to the protection of this geomorphological phenomenon from waste.

This local initiative was held by Eco HUB Blagaj together with the students of the United World College in Mostar (UWC Mostar) and the environmental association “Majski Cvijet”.

The Bunski canals are located south of Mostar along the main road M-17 Mostar – Čapljina. In the 230 kilometers of its course, the Neretva has built a whole series of beautiful landscapes, but the opinion of many is that it is the locality south of Mostar at the mouth of the Buna, which, due to the amount of water, but also the landscape, represents the greatest value.

Eco HUB Blagaj, which is coordinated by the Youth Club Novi Val Blagaj, was launched as part of the project “Think about nature!” implemented by the Center for the Promotion of Civil Society, and financially supported by Sweden.
