Although patients infected with coronavirus must be placed in isolation as a matter of urgency, Bosnia-Herzegovina could have a major problem in confirming infectious disease in our country due to a lack of isolators. The Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo confirms that they do not have adequate isolators, Klix.ba news portal reports.

“Patients with suspected or confirmed coronavirus infection require separate facilities, an isolation room for examination, diagnosis and further treatment. This includes separate waiting rooms, special single rooms with negative pressure and a high level of protection for medical staff,” explains Rusmir Baljic, chief at Infectious Diseases Clinics at KCUS. In this regard, the Crisis Staff of the Sarajevo Canton has adopted the conclusion that an adequate space is urgently found in the Sarajevo Canton to meet the above conditions.
