Closing Ceremony of the Festival “Sarajevo Winter” Titled “Sarajevo Circle of Peace, Art and Freedom”

sarajevska_zima (2)The official closing ceremony of XXX Festival “Sarajevo Winter” PAFF is held yesterday in afternoon in Sarajevo.

During the closing ceremony titled “Sarajevo circle of peace, art and freedom” participants riding on trams made “circle” from the bridge Drvenija to the Monument of Children in Sarajevo, near the park, at Tito’s street.

Then, participants walked on Tito’s street. After that, they attended the proclamation of the award winners of the XXX Festival “Sarajevo Winter” and opening of the exhibition of participants of the competition and artistic program where winners were presented.

Director of the Festival “Sarajevo Winter” Ibrahim Spahić said for Agency Fena that from 7 February until 21 March are implemented more than 120 programs of the various contents.

According to him, more than 1.250 artists from 43 countries participated in this year’s program “Sarajevo Winter”.

Spahić at the end of XXX Festival said that Sarajevo winter is one holiday of art.
